Italian coffee grinder maker Fiorenzato is launching two new models under the Fiorenzato Home sub-brand in the United States this month: the AllGround Sense and the AllGround Probrew.
The Fiorenzato AllGround Sense and ProBrew models were recently added to the Fiorenzato-USA website for sales and fulfillment by Fiorenzato’s U.S. distribution partner, Espresso Parts, with prices starting at $1,250 and $1,150, respectively.

AllGround Sense is an on-demand grind-by-weight grinder with a touchscreen interface. Its patented “floating load cell” design aims to insulate the machine’s more sensitive, precision-oriented scale parts from minor bumps and rattles.
The single-dose-oriented AllGround Probrew includes a bellows in place of a hopper for minimizing retention, plus a metal dosing cup as its standard receptacle.
Both the AllGround Sense and Classic grinders now spin the same Fiorenzato-made multipurpose burrs, while the ProBrew is equipped with the company’s distinct Brewing burrs. All burrs are treated to the recipe of titanium, aluminum, carbon and nitrogen coatings Fiorenzato calls Dark-T.

“We considered many options, but came to the conclusion that the Dark-T burrs were the right solution for our AllGrounds,” a Fiorenzato representative recently told Daily Coffee News. “These new burrs are an evolution of our M340 and were created to further enhance the grinding performances and guarantee a durability five times longer than standard burrs.”
While the new machines are being marketed under the Fiorenzato Home banner, the company is also promoting them for light-duty commercial applications.
“The AllGround line is the perfect match between professional and domestic,” the company told DCN. “They were born as a product designed for home users, but Fiorenzato Home went over the line. It defined a new market for all the professionals and the ‘coffee geeks.’”
Fiorenzato displayed the new grinders for the first time at the HostMilano trade in Milan last fall, where 2018 World Barista Champion and current World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion Agnieszka Rojewska was on hand for demonstrations.

At HostMilano, the company celebrated the launch of the Bond grinder, which supports wireless data connectivity to coffee machines, resulting in automatic grind adjustments to maintain extraction targets. The system was developed by Fiorenzato through an exclusive partnership with espresso machine maker Rancilio.
“It’s easy to use for all baristas, optimizes the working time and permits the replicability of your coffee recipes with less coffee waste,” the company said. “This connectivity system was designed specifically for Rancilio, but this is only a starting point. We strongly believe that this technology will be a main driver for the future of the industry.”

These and other new releases are being presented during a busy spring schedule for the Italian company. Fiorenzato representatives will be at the London Coffee Festival on April 11-14, the Specialty Coffee Expo in Chicago on April 12-14. Following those are Fiorenzato’s appearances at World of Coffee Busan May 1-4 and World of Coffee Copenhagen June 27-29.
